How long does an appointment take?
Initial consults generally take about 45 minutes, sometimes a little longer, sometimes a little less. Follow up consults
are approximately 30 minutes.
How much does a Consultation cost and do you have Eftpos?
We charge $77 for your initial consultation and $55 for subsequent treatments. Yes, we accept Eftpos and all major
credit cards (except American Express)
Can I claim my treatment on my Health Insurance?
Craig Haynes is a registered Health Fund Provider; more and more of the Private Health Funds will cover you
for treatment. Generally speaking, if your Insurance Fund recognizes Bowen Therapy then you should be able to
claim your Myopractic treatment under the Bowen Therapy umbrella. Please check with your own Health fund to
ensure you are covered.
Should I keep going to my regular bodywork therapist whilst receiving treatment from you?
No. It is never a good idea to "mix and match" at the same time. Whilst you are having treatment with any
type of bodywork therapist (eg, physiotherapist, chiropractor, massage etc) then we will not be able to
schedule an appointment for you at Bunbury & Busselton Myopractic. You'll find that other Health Professionals
will all agree. This is for your own benefit, not because we don't like to share! Different treatments work
in different ways and it is counter-productive to have the treatment "undone" by another technique. If you're
unsure, but would like to give us a go, then simply delay seeking other treatment for the duration that you
are seeing Craig. The results can then speak for themselves and you can decide which path to follow.
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing. Myopractic is performed through clothing so no clothing needs to be removed.
Scenar is applied directly to the skin, so for example, if you are going to receive Scenar treatment on your
back then a top that can be easily lifted at the back, whilst remaining clothed, is a good idea.
